Tatum Bank has emerged as the Platinum Winner in the Transformation Excellence, Core Banking Transformation category at the 11th edition of the Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2026, reaffirming its commitment to digital innovation and operational excellence.

The prestigious award recognises financial institutions that have demonstrated exceptional innovation, digital transformation and excellence in delivering world-class banking solutions.

The recognition celebrates organisations that have successfully transformed their core banking infrastructure to achieve enhanced operational efficiency, scalability, and agility, and an improved customer experience.

Tatum Bank’s emergence as the Platinum Winner underscores the institution’s strategic investment in technology and its commitment to innovation-driven growth as it continues to build a modern banking institution tailored to customers’ evolving needs.

The award, coming less than two years after the bank’s operations began, validates its vision of establishing a future-ready financial institution built on a robust digital foundation.

The recognition also highlights the successful implementation of the bank’s core banking transformation programme in partnership with Infosys Finacle, a development that has enabled Tatum Bank to deliver seamless, secure and efficient banking services across diverse customer segments.

The achievement further reflects the collective efforts of the bank’s leadership, employees, technology partners and other stakeholders in driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Speaking on the recognition, Executive Director of Tatum Bank, Mr. George Oko-Oboh, described the award as a major milestone in the bank’s growth journey.

He said: “Being named a Platinum Winner in the Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2026 is a significant milestone in our journey as a newly established bank with a strong digital-first ambition.

“From the outset, our goal at Tatum Bank has been to build a banking institution powered by modern technology, operational resilience and seamless customer experiences. Our Core Banking Transformation initiative, delivered in collaboration with Infosys Finacle, has provided the strategic platform to scale efficiently, innovate confidently and position the bank competitively within an increasingly dynamic financial services landscape.”

Oko-Oboh added that winning the Platinum Award validates the bank’s technology strategy and reinforces its commitment to delivering secure, convenient and accessible banking solutions at scale.

Since commencing operations in May 2025, Tatum Bank has continued to demonstrate its digital-first philosophy by rolling out innovative banking solutions, including its mobile banking platform, debit card products, payment solutions, and other digital channels to enhance customer convenience and promote financial inclusion.

The latest recognition comes on the heels of several milestones achieved by the bank in its first year of operations, including successfully meeting the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recapitalisation requirement and posting a Profit Before Tax of N1.7 billion for the 2025 financial year.

According to the bank, these achievements reflect the confidence reposed in its strategic direction by shareholders, customers and other stakeholders, while positioning it for sustained long-term growth in Nigeria’s financial services industry.
