Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sparked fresh conversation online after sharing a series of posts about surviving a narcissist, just as speculation continues to swirl around her marriage.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress listed what she described as key attitudes for dealing with a narcissist. According to her, the first is “consequences without overexplaining,” followed by “unpredictable detachment,” “becoming useless to their exploitation,” and “becoming impossible to guilt-trip.”

Her posts came shortly after her husband, Bobby Maris, shared a cryptic message on social media, writing that “not all women’s heads are fit to wear the crown of wife.” The posts have fuelled speculation among fans about the state of their relationship, although neither Uche nor Bobby has publicly confirmed any marital issues.

Observers also noticed that the couple no longer follow each other on Instagram, adding to the online buzz.

The development stands in contrast to Uche’s previous public declarations about her husband. On several occasions, she has spoken warmly about Bobby, once describing him as her “heavyweight husband” and declaring that she could do anything for him.

The couple traditionally tied the knot in January 2023 in Uche’s hometown in Imo State. Celebrating the occasion at the time, the actress announced that she was officially Mrs Bobby Florentus Ugwoegbu.

Before their wedding, Uche frequently praised Bobby on social media, describing herself as blessed to have him and saying he made her heart sing.

Since then, the couple have welcomed two children together, a son and a daughter. While announcing her pregnancy in 2023, the actress described Bobby as “a mighty man in a young body” and expressed excitement about their growing family.
