Serie A club Fiorentina have submitted an improved offer to Wolverhampton Wanderers for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare.

The Viola saw their opening bid for the 25-year-old rejected by Wolves last week but have now returned with a fresh proposal in a bid to convince the Premier League club to sanction the transfer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina’s latest offer is structured as an initial loan deal with a buy clause for €22 million.
“Fiorentina submit new proposal to sign Tolu Arokodare as talks with Wolves continue,” Romano wrote on X.
“Loan with €22m buy clause offered, talks underway with Tolu keen on Fiorentina as next step for his career.”
Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, with Fiorentina hopeful of reaching an agreement for the Nigeria international, who has emerged as one of their top attacking targets this summer.
The striker moved to the Sky Bet Championship club from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk last summer.
Arokodare registered three goals and one assist in 33 league appearances for the Old Gold.
He is under contract with Wolves until 2029, with the club holding an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
