NASC Chairman Bags Most Upstanding Public Officer Award

The Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity and Justice has conferred most outstanding and transparent Public Officer of the Year 2022 on the chairman of National Assembly Service Commission for changing the fortunes of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).

Speaking during the occasion, the national coordinator, Comrade James Okoronkwo, commended Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi ( FNSE) for boosting the human capacity of legislative aides through constant training, building of the permanent office complex of the NASC, prompt payment of salaries and duty tour allowance of staff, enhancement of the career progression of the National Assembly Staff amongst other numerous achievements .

‘’Following the assessment of the performance of over 300 ministries, departments and agencies, a prominent civil society group,  urged the NASC Chairman to disregard the antics of detractors as he continues to strengthen Nigeria’s legislature.’’
