Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, earlier today held his first interactive session with the newly inaugurated members of the State Executive Council.
The meeting held at the Council Chamber of the Government House where the Governor congratulated the commissioners on their appointments and outlined his expectations for the new cabinet.
He charged them to hit the ground running, work in close synergy with one another, recover lost ground where necessary and remain focused on delivering the administration’s development agenda.
He also urged them to uphold the highest standards of discipline, accountability and dedication in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The commissioners took turns to express gratitude to the Governor for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to remain loyal, committed and united in driving the governor’s vision.
They assured the Governor of their readiness to work tirelessly to deliver impactful programmes and projects that will further improve the lives of the people of Gombe State.
