Governor Dauda Lawal approved a ₦32,000 monthly pension increment for all pensioners in the state.

This is a significant demonstration of his administration’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of retirees in the state, according to a statement from the state ministry of information and culture.

The increment, which is in addition to the existing monthly pensions currently being paid, will benefit both State and Local Government pensioners across Zamfara State.

As part of the governor’s directive, the Accountant General of the State has been instructed to commence the immediate implementation and payment of the ₦32,000 monthly increment to all eligible pensioners without delay.

The approval was another clear demonstration of the Rescue Mission Administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of senior citizens and ensuring that retired public servants who devoted their productive years to the service of Zamfara State receive the support and dignity they deserve.
