Asake Makes History With Spotify Live Performance Film In London

Nigerian Afrobeats star Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has featured in Spotify’s first full-length live album performance film following an exclusive show at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The film, titled Asake – M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live), captures the artiste performing his latest album, M$NEY, in full alongside a 40-person choir, a live orchestra, and the live band The Compozers.

During the one-night-only event, Asake became the first Afrobeats artiste to headline the historic venue, using the opportunity to premiere four previously unreleased tracks to an audience of top Spotify listeners.

The performance film and its accompanying live audio album are available exclusively on Spotify, following the global commercial success of the M$NEY album across major streaming charts.
