Bandits Kill 10 Policemen, 2 Civilians In Kebbi Attack

Suspected bandits have killed 10 policemen and two civilians while another two sustained various degree of injuries along Rafin Makuku village in Sakaba local government area of Kebbi State.

The deceased lost their lives during an encounter with heavily armed groups suspected to be bandits moving from Zamfara State to Kebbi State on Monday evening.

The remains of the officers have been conveyed to Birnin Kebbi and the security personnel have deployed to the area in order to persue of the fleeing bandits.

Though there was no official confirmation over the incident but, Kebbi state police command in a statement it obtained from the Force Headquarters issued on Tuesday condoled the victim’s family and promised to support with them and the injured personnel.
