Transfer: Osimhen Not For Sale, Galatasaray Tell Arsenal, Al-Hilal

Galatasaray have reportedly sent a firm message to clubs interested in Victor Osimhen, insisting that the Nigerian striker is not available for transfer.

The 27-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs during the summer transfer window, with Premier League side Arsenal and Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal among those reportedly monitoring his situation.

Al-Hilal are said to have entered the race as they consider their attacking options, with reports suggesting the Saudi Pro League club could part ways with former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

Arsenal have also reportedly made enquiries about Osimhen as they continue to assess their attacking options. The Gunners are understood to have held discussions with Galatasaray over a potential deal for the Super Eagles forward.

However, according to a report by Erdem Açıkgöz, cited by Habersarikirmizi, Galatasaray have made their position clear and are unwilling to entertain offers for their leading striker.

“Our stance is clear; no matter what, we are not selling Osimhen,” the club management was quoted as saying.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli after an impressive loan spell and played a key role in helping the Istanbul giants retain the Turkish Super Lig title for a second consecutive season.

His goalscoring record and importance to the club have made him one of the most sought-after forwards in the current transfer window.

Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Al-Hilal and other clubs, Galatasaray appear determined to keep hold of the Nigeria international unless their position changes before the transfer window closes.
