President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a high- powered delegation led by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila to the first- ever Nigeria Diaspora Investment Economic Conference (NIDEC) holding in Canada where Nigerian top officials are engaged in high-level discussions.

The Conference with the theme “INVEST NIGERIA, THRIVE ABROAD” started from 12th  and will end on 15th August 2026 in Toronto, Canada and the Nigerian Delegation is upbeat that  the country will benefit from the conference in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

This Conference was designed not only as a high-level outcome driven investment platform but will also serve as a shared commitment of both countries to strengthen bilateral economic relations. It was organised by NiDCOM in collaboration with the Nigerian High Commission in Ottawa, the Canadian High Commission in Abuja and major national and international stakeholders.

The Investment Conference serves as a definitive bridge connecting global leaders to “investment Ready” opportunities back home with focus on high impact sectors that are the engines of Nigeria’s future growth and development.

Nigeria’s Minister of State For Foreign Affairs, Sola Enikonlaiye expressed optimism that the conference is a strategic platform to attract investment, jobs and foreign exchange to Nigeria.
