Manchester United have been told that signing Victor Osimhen could provide the solution to their attacking problems, with Turkish football pundit Yetiş Yönetci describing the Galatasaray striker as the “cure” for the club’s woes.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and several other leading European clubs also reportedly monitoring the Nigeria international during the summer transfer window.
Yönetci, speaking in comments shared by Turkish broadcaster A Spor, backed the 27-year-old to make an immediate impact at United.
“Victor Osimhen would be the cure for all of Manchester United’s woes,” he said.
The comments come after United suffered a 2-0 defeat by Hull City in the Premier League at the weekend, further increasing scrutiny on the club’s attacking options.
Osimhen has made an impressive start to the season with Galatasaray, scoring four goals in his first two appearances for the Turkish champions.
The Nigerian striker spent last season with Galatasaray after joining the club on loan before making his move permanent. His goalscoring record and physical presence have made him one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe.
United are understood to be considering attacking reinforcements as they look to improve on a difficult campaign, with Osimhen continuing to attract significant interest.
