Group Decries Adeleke Transport C’ttee Composition

A rights organisation operating under the aegis of The Peace Ambassador (TPA) has called on the InspAdelekeector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkhali, to point his search light on the security situation in Osun State to check avoidable security risks.

The group in a statement jointly signed by the coordinator and secretary of the group, Alhaji Agbaje Ojo and Mrs Janet Arowosola respectively noted that the negative reports coming from Osun lately calls for concern.

The group specifically lamented the recent appointment of an alleged wanted person in a committee saddled with the responsibility of sanitising the transportation sector of Osun State economy.

The statement reads in part, “We noted with dismay the incessant attacks by some political thugs in the state within the last hundred days of the current administration.

“To make the matter worse, the inclusion of a notorious criminal that has been declared wanted by Osun state police Command, Oyeyemi Dauda Olamilekan, popularly called Emir Ajagungbade, in the Transport Disciplinary Committee by Governor Ademola Adeleke is a dangerous step.’’
