“The late Sir Ahmadu Bello will always be remembered for his tireless efforts to make northern Nigeria economically competitive, politically thriving, religiously stable, peaceful and united. 57 years after his demise, his name and legacies still educe memories and his image still looms larger than life not only in the North but across the country. The Sardauna and his compatriots will continually be remembered by generations of Nigerians because of the selfless service they rendered to the northern region and the country as a whole.”

“It is with greater honor that the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) celebrates this historic day considering how the foundation evolved, deriving its name from the late sage of blessed memory.

“Let’s accept that if we must make a difference as good leaders of this generation and of this great nation, who desire to make our states and nation better, then we must continue to emulate people like the late Sardauna and appreciate the selfless sacrifices made by our past leaders so that the labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain.
