Nasarawa State government has declared that Governor Abdullahi Sule will not leave any ongoing projects uncompleted before the expiration of his tenure on May 29, 2027.

The assurance came from the newly appointed commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Nawani Aboki.

In his maiden press briefing in Lafia, Aboki said the Sule administration was determined to complete all ongoing projects while also initiating other critical interventions for the continued development of the state.

“Let me make it clear that this administration remains committed to completing its ongoing projects and initiating other critical projects for the continued development of the state. Government is a continuum,” Aboki said.

“The completion of ongoing projects and the commencement of new initiatives are therefore part of our commitment to ensuring that the development of Nasarawa State does not suffer any interruption,” he added.

The commissioner noted that over the past years, the Sule administration had worked assiduously to lay what he described as the critical foundation for a modern and prosperous Nasarawa State through deliberate policies and programmes across various sectors.

According to him, the significance of that foundation cannot be over-emphasised as it provides a platform upon which future administrations can consolidate and build for generations yet unborn.

Dr. Aboki said as the state approaches another important phase in its political and developmental history, his ministry will ensure that the story of Nasarawa’s transformation is properly documented and preserved.

He announced that very soon, the ministry will unveil its blueprint and six-month priority programme to the media and the general public, calling for partnership from journalists in public enlightenment.

“We will carry you along, provide timely access to information and create the necessary environment for effective publicity. I invite you to see the Ministry not merely as a source of government information, but as a partner in the collective task of building and projecting the Nasarawa story,” he said.

He expressed profound gratitude to the media community in the state for its consistent support and constructive engagement with the Sule administration.
