Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, daughter of retired American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, has been ordered by a United States court to pay $50.1 million in damages to a woman she stabbed during an altercation in 2020.

According to legal documents obtained from the District Court of Harris County, Texas, on Monday, September 14, 2026, the presiding judge awarded the victim, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, $40.1 million in compensatory damages and an additional $10 million in exemplary damages.

The compensatory payment covers physical pain, mental anguish, lost earnings, and permanent disfigurement, while the $10 million exemplary damages were imposed after the court found that Mayweather intentionally committed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The court also instructed Mayweather to submit detailed financial statements, including bank account details, contractual agreements, and income streams, to facilitate the payment of the judgment sum.
