Gwarzo Celebrates Remi Tinubu’s Commitment To Women Empowerment

The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, commending her commitment to women’s empowerment, peace and national unity.

In a statement on Monday, Gwarzo described the First Lady as an epitome of humility and simplicity, saying her efforts towards promoting peaceful coexistence and empowering women deserved commendation.

He said Mrs Tinubu should serve as an example to women leaders because of her commitment to promoting peace and unity across the country.

Gwarzo recalled that, in recognition of these qualities, the management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) named its School of Law building after the First Lady.

“On behalf of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to extend our warm greetings to the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 66th birthday,” he said.

He also commended the First Lady for her sustained efforts and dedication to women’s empowerment, as well as her service towards the betterment of society.

Gwarzo wished Mrs Tinubu many more years in good health and prayed that Almighty Allah would grant her long life and enable her to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his efforts to move Nigeria forward.
