2027: Anioma Group Unveils APC Mobilisation Structure

The Anioma Political Outreach, an All Progressives Congress (APC)-aligned political mobilisation platform in Delta North, has unveiled a broad organisational structure as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The platform said its mission is to mobilise, campaign and support APC candidates across elective positions in the forthcoming elections, with structures spanning the nine local government areas that make up the Delta North Senatorial District.

The newly announced structure includes a Board of Trustees, Resource Tank, Eminent Elders Council, Federal Constituencies Mobilising Directorate, Inter-Party Affairs Directorate, Community Liaison Directorate and Contact/Mobilisation Council.

Other organs include the Reconciliation Council, Media and Publicity Directorate, Inter-Religious Directorate, Field Facilitators, Youth Council, Women Council and constituency-level coordinators.

The Convener and Chief Field Officer of the outreach, Hon. (Chief) Frank Igwebuike, said the initiative was formally welcoming leaders, stalwarts and grassroots mobilisers to what he described as a major political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.

Igwebuike called on coordinators across the state constituencies to work with political leaders in their respective areas and develop grassroots mobilisation structures capable of reaching communities and electoral units across Delta North.

He directed the State Constituency Coordinators to work with the Cell Field Mobilising Officers under their supervision to establish networks of Unit Mobilising Agents within their respective cells.

The outreach has appointed coordinators for the 11 State House of Assembly constituencies covering Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North-East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili North, Oshimili South and Ukwani.

It has also constituted Federal Constituency Mobilising Directorates for Aniocha/Oshimili, Ika and Ndokwa/Ukwani Federal Constituencies, alongside a Delta North Senatorial District field structure.

The Board of Trustees is chaired by High Chief Fred Ajudua, with Rt. Hon. Chuks Agboma as Deputy Chairman and Morrison Onunu, an Esq., serving as Secretary. The structure also includes an Eminent Elders Council chaired by Professor Egwuyaenga, with Rt. Hon. Olisa Imegwu as Deputy Chairman.

The platform further named a number of professionals, former public officials, community leaders, religious figures, youth representatives and women leaders to various positions, including its Resource Tank, Reconciliation Council, Community Liaison Directorate and Inter-Religious Directorate.

According to the organisers, the structure is designed to strengthen coordination between political leaders and grassroots operatives while improving communication, mobilisation and community engagement across Delta North.

The development comes amid increased political mobilisation in Delta North ahead of the 2027 elections, with various political groups and APC stakeholders already undertaking grassroots engagement and reconciliation efforts in the district.

The organisers said the outreach would continue to engage communities, political stakeholders, women, youths, religious groups and other interest groups as part of its activities ahead of the elections.

The Anioma Political Outreach also called on its coordinators and field officers to maintain collaboration with party leaders and stakeholders while carrying out their assigned responsibilities across the district.
