Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna (Josephina Otabor) defeated actress Nkechi Blessing in a scheduled four-round celebrity boxing match at the Chaos in the Ring event held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos.
Phyna secured a knockout victory over Nkechi Blessing in the fourth round after controlling the pace and wearing down her opponent across the preceding rounds.
With the victory, Phyna was awarded a championship belt and a brand-new 2026 Electric Vehicle (EV).
The victory makes Phyna the first female celebrity champion in the history of the Chaos in the Ring series.
Following her victory, Phyna challenged Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia to be her next opponent in the ring. Etinosa, who was watching ringside, immediately accepted the challenge.
The Chaos in the Ring card, sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC), also featured a co-main event where skit maker Carter Efe defeated musician Speed Darlington.
