The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, a political group that supports the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, is adding a national office in Abuja to the state structures it has set up in several parts of the country.
The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is scheduled to inaugurate the Abuja headquarters on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The movement announced this in a statement dated Wednesday and signed by its national coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku.
The office is expected to serve as the movement’s central coordination point for activities in the Federal Capital Territory and its nationwide mobilisation programme.
Asuku, said the inauguration would provide a base for the movement’s expanding structures.
“The inauguration will reinforce the organisation’s determination to build a strong and effective grassroots network capable of reaching communities across the country,” Asuku said.
According to the movement, the Abuja office will coordinate activities, improve communication among its structures, support state and local government coordinators and facilitate outreach to communities.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is convened by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, who serves as its grand patron.
The movement said it has established state chapters and local government coordinating structures in several parts of the country as part of its organisational expansion.
It listed Katsina, Borno, Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Oyo, Yobe, Bauchi, Kwara, Gombe and Ondo among the states where it has undertaken mobilisation activities.
The movement said more than 300 campaign vehicles and equipment have been distributed to states to support the operations of its coordinators.
In Katsina State, it said coordinators were inaugurated across the state’s 34 local government areas, with 34 vehicles deployed for community engagement.
The movement said 44 vehicles and public-address equipment were deployed in Borno State, while 50 vehicles were provided in Kano State to support activities across the state’s 44 local government areas.
In Taraba State, the movement said it inaugurated its state structure in Jalingo and presented 25 vehicles to coordinators. It also said 25 vehicles each were deployed in Nasarawa and Kogi states.
The movement said it recently extended activities to Kwara, Ondo and Gombe states.
In Kwara State, it said 34 vehicles were deployed during the inauguration of its state chapter in Ilorin. The group said the exercise was intended to support coordination across communities and strengthen its presence at the local government and ward levels.
In Gombe State, the movement said it inaugurated its state chapter and deployed 26 vehicles for outreach across the state’s 11 local government areas and 13 local development areas.
It also said it inaugurated its structure in Ondo State, where 26 vehicles were deployed to support its activities.
The movement said its activities are built around direct engagement with residents through coordinators and ambassadors.
It said members are expected to engage people in households, markets, workplaces, religious centres and other community gathering points.
According to the movement, the engagement is intended to provide information about government policies and programmes, while also creating opportunities for residents to express their views and concerns.
Its leadership has asked coordinators to explain the administration’s programmes on infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic reforms and development.
The movement also said coordinators should engage residents respectfully and listen to issues affecting their communities.
The movement said it is working towards establishing a presence in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with structures extending to local government areas, wards and polling units.
It said its long-term objective is to create a coordinated grassroots network that can sustain direct engagement with communities across the country.
The leadership has urged members and supporters to maintain peaceful engagement, issue-based communication and respect for citizens with different political opinions.
The inauguration of the Abuja headquarters is expected to provide a focal point for the movement’s activities in the nation’s capital as it continues to develop its nationwide structure.
