The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum in Abia State  has endorsed the re-election of Governor Alex Otti in 2027, lauding his administration for transforming the state.

Chairman of the chapter, Baba Lawal, announced this during a courtesy visit to the chief of staff to the governor, Caleb Ajagba, at Government House, Umuahia, the state capital yesterday.

He said the administration’s policies and ongoing projects had renewed public confidence in governance and positioned the state as an emerging model of development and inclusive leadership.

Lawal listed the administration’s achievements in infrastructure development, security, healthcare, education, transportation, commerce and inclusiveness among others.

He reaffirmed the members’ commitment  to peaceful coexistence and sustained collaboration with the administration to strengthen unity and preserve harmonious relations in the state.

‎‎In his response, Ajagba said the state had become a reference point for democratic governance in Nigeria, attributing it to the governor’s commitment to quality leadership and good governance.

‎‎The chief of staff noted that the  administration had remained committed to treating every residence equally and fairly, irrespective of ethnicity, religion or state of origin.

‎‎While appreciating the forum for the endorsement, he urged the members to collect their Permanent Voters Card and to ensure they voted for the governor during the election.

‎‎Ajagba assured the forum and the members of the administration’s continued support for residents of the state who uphold peace, truth and responsible citizenship.
