Nigerian forwards Victor Osimhen and Gift Orban are tied for first place in the Turkish Super Lig scoring standings after both players scored in their respective club matches over the weekend.
Osimhen found the target for Galatasaray in their 4-0 away victory against Konyaspor on Friday, continuing his strong run of form in front of goal.
Orban, meanwhile, was influential for Amedspor on Sunday, scoring once and setting up another goal in a commanding 5-1 win over Eyupspor.
The two Nigeria internationals now share the top spot in the league’s Golden Boot race with nine goals each. Orban currently holds a slight advantage in assists, having provided four compared with Osimhen’s three.
Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah remains close behind the Nigerian pair, sitting one goal back on eight after scoring for Trabzonspor.
