Kwara Governor Approves Transformers For 11 Communities

In furtherance of his administration’s efforts at ensuring regular power supply across the state, Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the installation of transformers in 11 communities in the state.

The state commissioner for energy, Hon AbdulWahab Whyte, disclosed this during an interview with LEADERSHIP in Ilorin, the state capital.

The benefitting communities are Araromi in Moro local government, Koko Araromi (Ifelodun); Pan African College Offa (Offa); Offa Polytechnic (Offa); Itesiwaju in Akerebiata (Ilorin East); Babanloma (Ifelodun) and Niger/ Taiwo community (Ilorin South).

Others are Ambassador Estate in Sango (Ilorin South); Abdulsalam Alao in Gaa- Akanbi (Ilorin South); Edidi Town (Isin) and Isokanlagba Sapati Ile (Asa).

The commissioner said the gesture further demonstrated Governor AbdulRazaq’s passion for people’s welfare.
