Kogi Guber: Nigerian Students Endorses Kogi Chief of Staff, Asuku As Bello’s Successor

The coalition of Governor Yahaya Bello Students Social Media Influencers (GYSSMI) has endorsed Kogi State Chief of Staff, Pharm Muhammad Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku, to succeed His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s Successor in 2023.

According to the group, Asuku is the best man to sustain governor Bello’s momentum of diversification and economic, and education reform in the state.

The Coalition threw its weight behind the Chief of Staff in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, in Lokoja.

The group also announced that Pharmacist Asuku will pick the Gubernatorial form today at the party Secretariat.

in her statement, the (GYSSMI ) state coordinator Comr. Abubakar Fatimah Zahra said Asuku tick all the boxes.

Zahrah noted that Kogi state is about to witness an incipience of purposeful leadership.

She noted that ambition is birthed from the prism of experience and as a result of his diligence and dedication to serve his people is about to transmogrify into reality.

In her words: “Asuku Jamiu has demonstrated a good leadership quality since his emergence as a chief of staff to the governor Yahaya Bello and the cordial and mentor-protege relationship he shared with his Boss and working assiduously to actualize his Boss dream of revitalizing the state has placed him in the right position and also as an added advantage for the sustainability of governor Yahaya Bello legacy.”

“The aforementioned body is a united and detribalised organization, formed to promote unity and peaceful coexistence among the younger generation in the state, as well as enhancing a cosmopolitan and all-inclusive society.

While calling on Asuku to enter the contest for the APC Gubernatorial race, the group urged the ruling party to narrow its search to the Chief of Staff.
