“We promise to have a peaceful country, with buoyant economy, best education to our children and invoke power to states and local governments with corresponding resources,” he stated.

Atiku told his kinsmen that it is a golden opportunity for them to elect PDP to produce their son as the next president.

“I will live by my words as I will not tell you what I will not do for Adamawa, North-East and Nigeria.”

Atiku appealed to Adamawa citizens to produce the highest number of votes and not to be carried away by any political propaganda from any candidate.

He appealed for the people to vote the PDP from top to the bottom and from bottom to the top at all levels.

PDP national chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, received 2,000 new decampees from APN, AA, APP, NRN and ADC political parties, who adopted Atiku at the venue of the event.

Ayu thanked the people of Adamawa State for coming out in large numbers to receive their son, adding that everywhere the campaign train of PDP visited, they were received with tremendous acceptance for Atiku.

He accused the APC stalwarts of hoarding the naira which he said has forced many Nigerians into untold hardship and suffering, assuring that Atiku will mend the differences between Muslim and Christians as well as between the North and Southerners.

Governor Ahmad Fintiri, who was presented the flag of the party to re-contest for governorship, promised more dividends of democracy to his people.

Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal; Sen Bukola Saraki and Dino Melaye joined in canvassing votes for Atiku and Fintiri at the grand finale of the campaigns.
