The leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the South West region have reaffirmed their support for Atiku Abubakar’s candidature while commending Governor Ademola Adeleke for good performance under 100 days in office.

In a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting at Governor Adeleke’s house in Ede, the leaders stated that the zonal leadership of the party is determined to ensure the victory of their presidential candidate, Waziri Atiku Abubakar and all the candidates of the party across the zone.

The party leaders who linked Senator Adeleke as the light of victory coming for PDP lamented the bad state of the economy and concluded that the best route for national redemption is a vote for PDP candidates in forthcoming elections.

They stated that Governor Adeleke remained a rallying point not only in the southwest but in the entire country despite the recent tribunal judgement.
