President Muhammadu Buhari, Aregbesola Mourn Immigration Board Secretary

President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned the demise of Hajiya  A’isha Rufa’i, the secretary/director of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of Interior, CDCFIB.

While expressing his deep sorrow and grief, President Buhari in a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina recalled the contribution of the deceased to the Federal Civil Service as an organiser and effective administrator in all her previous roles.

He prayed for the repose of her soul and fortitude for her larger family members in Kano to bear the loss.

Also, the minister of interior,  Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has announced the cancellation of all official engagements scheduled until  further notice following the unfortunate death of the secretary, Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board ( CDCFIB) Hajia  Aisha Ahmed Rufai.

Aregbesola, who however, did not disclose the cause of her death , described the late director and secretary of the CDCFIB board as a heavy blow and a very painful one.

Announcing the Aisha Ahmed Rufai’s demise via his Twitter handle, he said, ” With a heavy heart  but in total submission to the will of the Almighty Allah, I join friends , family and the entire staff in the Ministry to mourn the passing of Mrs . Aisha  Rufai, the secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional , Fire and Immigration Board.”

While praying the Almighty Allah to forgive her sins and grant her Jannatul – Firdaus , Aregbesola , who doubles as the chairman of the board said, ” In the light of this sadness, all official engagements in my office are postponed until further notice , as we mourn the loss of this hardworking, loyal and committed officer.
