Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is set to get a new mask at Napoli designed with the image of the Serie A Scudetto, according to Soccernet.ng
Osimhen started using the mask in January 2022 after he sustained a nasty facial injury from a clash with Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
The former Lille man has been in outstanding form since then scoring goals aplenty for the Partenopeans.
This season, Osimhen has been in superb form, scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances. His goals have been important, as Napoli currently sit at the summit of the Serie A with a 16-point gap above second-placed Lazio.
The 24-year-old hitman was in action for Nigeria during the international break. He played two games for the Super Eagles against Guinea-Bissau, but he was unable to score.
Unfortunately for Osimhen, he also lost his mask while returning to Italy.
Nonetheless, he is set to get a new mask. But this time, it will come with a special design. According to Tutto Napoli, Osimhen’s new mask will come with the image of the Scudetto.
The Serie A top striker is currently unavailable due to a slight injury. But the next time he will be in action, he will be wearing his new mask.
