Fasasi who is poised to release his latest movie, Ketu, said his most challenging role was one that had him hold a life snake in motion.

“I got to the film location and I was told by the production manager that I would be carrying a live snake. I thought about rejecting the role because I couldn’t imagine myself holding a dead snake not to talk of a live one. I get easily irritated and scared at the sight of reptiles. But I had to take that role because of my love for the art. The herpetologist assured me that the snake wouldn’t bite and taught me how to handle it. I summoned courage and took the role. Now holding a live snake in a movie won’t be a challenge.”

On how he desires to contribute to the growth of Nollywood, Fasasi said, “I see myself contributing to the growth by promoting and producing quality movies that will impact both young and old. I also intend to create an enabling environment for other young creatives that will also explore the industry and help it grow with innovative ideas.”

The talented actor also maintained that Yoruba movies help in the preservation of Yoruba culture.
