Yobe state Gov. Hon. Mai Mala Buni has commiserated with the government and people of Borno state over recent attacks on the convoy of the state Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum.
Gov. Buni said the government and people of Yobe state identify with Gov. Zulum and the people of Borno over the unfortunate incident.
The Governor prayed for the repose of the souls of those who were killed and for quick recovery of those injured.
He said the government and people of Yobe state will continue to pray for Allah’s protection of the governor in his efforts to resettle displaced persons in the state.
“You should not be deterred by these attacks in your zeal to improve the lives of your people” he said.
Borno state Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, commended Governor Buni for identifying with him, the government and people of Borno at all trying times.
‘I appreciate you my brother and colleague for always identifying with us at such times.
“You have in the last few months visited us several times to share our grief and console us, we remain grateful.
Zulum assured that Borno state government and the people cherish this relationship and would strive to develop the relationship.
