President Muhammadu Buhari, Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, are slated to attend Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria’s Youth Empowerment Summit (YES2017) grand finale.
A statement signed by the national president Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), Chris Kohol noted that the programme provides a platform for entrepreneurs to crossbreed ideas for economic growth, wealth and job creation.
He stated that the forum will enable young entrepreneurs to discuss youth empowerment in Nigeria for sustainable growth and economic development.
” The Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), YES2017 will gather Nigerian young entrepreneurs and youths at all stages of business development: business leaders, youth entrepreneurs, mentors, budding entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials to discuss and x-ray the challenges and solutions to youth entrepreneurship and empowerment in Nigeria,” it stated
The grand finale is scheduled to take place on Saturday 9 November with special recognition of personalities who have impacted positively on lives and contributed immensely to the growth and development of Nigeria through good governance and philanthropic works.
Kohol said that the YES2017 is organised by the Youth Entrepreneurs of Nigeria YEN in collaboration with Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, with the theme “Youth Empowerment: A Panacea for Unemployment, Economic Growth and Sustainable Development.”
He added that the summit will bring Nigerian young entrepreneurs and youths at all stages of business development to discuss the challenges and solutions to youth’s entrepreneurship and empowerment.
According to the statement, other personalities at the summit include the vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki; Governor Nyesom Wike, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, Sen. George Akume, among others.
