The most preferred hotel in West Africa, Eko Hotel & Suites is partnering with the first registered private orphanage in Lagos State, Little Saints Orphanage for reformation of orphans. Eko Hotel is solely sponsoring a one-day concert tagged ‘Joy Night’.

The concert is scheduled to hold on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Eko Hotels & Suites.

The event is aimed at raising funds for the completion of a building project for empowerment of street children  in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The building is to be commissioned in commemoration of the silver jubilee of the orphanage by June 4, 2019.  Little Saints Orphanage was established on the 4th of  June 1994. More than a thousand children have benefited from the programmes of the orphanage.

According to the Founder of the Orphanage, Rev. Mrs. Dele George, the building will be dedicated as a safe haven for orphans  who are still wandering on the streets with no one to help them. It will serve only as a reformation center.

“When the building is launched in celebration of our silver jubilee, it will then commence operations. It will be fully equipped for numerous recreational and vocational activities. We aim for the empowerment of these orphaned youths, they will be skillfully trained so they can be  financially independent,” she said.

Artists to grace the events are Yinka Davies, Michael George, Gracelight Band and Minister Anny, Comedians Mandy, koffi, and Princess.

The special appearance for the night will be an award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, evangelist Tope Alabi.
