Ekiti State government yesterday announced the appointment of 19 local government officers as the sole administrators of the newly created local council development areas in the state.
Their appointments were announced in a statement signed by the commissioner for Justice and chairman of the LCDA Implementation Committee, Mr Olawale Fapounda, in Ado-Ekiti on Monday.
The appointees, including a former state chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Mr Ayodeji Aluko according to the statement are to head the new LCDA secretariats.
They are, Ado Central LCDA- Victoria Fase, Ado North LCDA- Bosede Dele-Daramola, Ado West LCDA Kofoworola Rotimi, Ajoni LCDA- Modupe Oluwafemi, Araromi LCDA- Dupe Dayo-Ige, Ekameta LCDA – Tope Fadipe, Ekiti Southeast LCDA- Ayodeji Aluko, Ero LCDA- Olusegun Olawuyi, Gbonyin LCDA- Margaret O Babalola, Ifedara LCDA – Tunji Ajayi, Ifeloju LCDA-Taiwo Oni.
Others are Ifesowapo LCDA -Olusegun Komolafe, Igbara-Odo/Ogotun LCDA – Taiwo Bodunde, Ikere West LCDA -Adedayo Awe, Ikole West LCDA – Olusesan Aina, Irede LCDA – Gbenga O. Sanya, Irewolede LCDA -Titloye Omotayo, Isokan LCDA – Adewole Borisade and Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA- Ayo Omoniyi.
The statement said the appointments take effect immediately while the appointees are advised to assume duties in their respective secretariats no later than Thursday, September 9, 2021.
