This recognition, along with the conferment of a distinguished leadership award, took place during the historic commissioning of the Labour House, by the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, in Benin City, on Monday.

Presenting the award and formal recognition on behalf of Edo State Government and the organised labour, the deputy governor, Engr. Godwin Marvellous Omobayo, applauded the progressive leadership strides of Dr. Enabulele, and wished him greater attainments in his endeavours.

The event, which was widely attended by members of the State Executive Council (SEC), the Speaker and members of the Edo State House of Assembly, NLC president Comrade Joe Ajaero, TUC president Comrade Festus Osifo, members of the organised labour, members of the public, and many other dignitaries, also featured the recognition of other Labour Heroes such as late Pa Michael Imoudu, Pa Jonathan Ihonde, Comrade Festus Iyayi and Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, amongst others.

Responding on behalf of the Honourees, Dr. Enabulele thanked the Edo State Government and the Organised Labour for the honour done to them.

He commended Governor Obaseki for his unparalleled commitment to the actualisation of the Labour House, and called for its sustained maintenance and utilisation for the purposes for which it was built. He assured that the honourees will make further contributions to the development of society.
