The battery company which manufactures its top of the range products in the United States and is in one hundred and twenty countries stated that its estimated worth was now five hundred million dollars globally.
Seeking to deepen their market share in Nigeria, Director, New Market Development, Mr. Ganesh Balasubramanian stated that the company was working with their Nigerian partners and master distributor, Eauxwell Nigeria Limited to expand their reach by and make the newly launched products accessible and affordable to companies and consumers in the different cities.
He said, “Our presence in Nigeria for decades has been made possible by the efforts of our partners in Nigeria and distributor. Presently our global worth is $500 million dollars and we want to surpass that. Nigeria remains a key country to do business in and we look forward to do more business with Nigerian companies and expand our reach beyond Nigeria to other West African countries. Our new range of deep-cycle Solar batteries, SAGM 06 315 and SAGM 12 205 is designed for best value in solar and storage applications.
The launch held recently in Lagos afforded partners and distributors to network and seek better ways to develop the market for the solar batteries which is in high demand in Nigeria.
Mr. Edwin Enwegbara, Research Engineer of Eauxwell Nigeria Ltd, the master distributor of the products stated that the new line of products is engineered with advanced technologies for high cycle, optimum performance and rugged durability which is a necessity in the Nigerian power landscape.
“The newly launched batteries which are useful for both industrial and home purposes are available in deep-cycle battery sizes that are most commonly used for alternative power sources in Nigeria, ranging from 6V to 12V models and are suitable for use in several applications. By popular user requirement, it incorporates a maintenance-free design – no watering required,” Mr Enwegbara explained.
