“Accept the best wishes of my highest regards with fraternal greetings.”
According to Sani, he had not made up his mind on the the new party he will join, adding that, “I will make it known to the public when am ready.”
LEADERSHIP recall that Senator Shehu Sani, who was elected to the Senate in 2015 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), dumped the party for PRP in 2019 after he was denied his reelection ticket in a last-minute political maneuvering involving Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai and the APC national leadership.
Sani contested his reelection bid on the platform of PRP in 2019 and lost to El-Rufai’s ally, Senator Uba Sani.
