Former Super Eagles’ weapon of mass destruction, Obafemi Martins, believed the newly best African Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman, has the potential to play in any top Premier League club.

Martins, who lauded Lookman’s consistency for both club and country, told Livescore that the Super Eagles star is capable of excelling at Arsenal, Man United, and Liverpool.

“He’s one of my favourite players as well. My favourite striker, because every time I watch him, I just think about me and the way I used to play, but he’s probably better with the techniques and everything. He knows how to score goals as well, so I’m very happy for him, and I think he can do better.

The way he plays, he can play in the top teams in the Premier League, like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United. I don’t know about Chelsea,” the former Newcastle United striker said in an interview with Livescore.
