Ahead of the start of Nationwide League One (NLO) 2020/21 season, head coach of Udala FC of Awka, Folabi Ojekunle has said that his team would not leave any stone unturned in their quest to gain promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Ojekunle, in a chat with LEADERSHIP sports, said the team is well motivated for the task ahead, with the gift of a 32-seater Coaster bus by the club chairman, Chief Phillip Chinonso Udala, to ease the travelling and comfort of the players.
He also revealed that the players and officials of the team have been certified COVID-19 free after the test conducted on the players at one of the Anambra State government’s authorised test centers.
“I thank and appreciate Udala FC president, Chief Phillip Chinonso Udala and the management for the new bus”.
“We are working hard to make a mark because we are motivated. I am so passionate about coaching, so I won’t leave any stone unturned.”
Recall that Udala FC fell short of gaining promotion to NNL last season after finishing second behind Crime Busters FC of Enugu in the 2019 NLO season.
