Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) Abuja Chapter has inaugurated its new executive committee with Ms Mbang Esu emerging as its 7th chairperson.
The 11-member committee is expected to lead the society from 2021 to 2023.
At her investiture in Abuja, Esu pledged that the society would assist the government in the fight against illicit financial flows and the efforts to curb corruption.
She said the society would also embark on some projects such as “Catch them young programme”, women empowerment, medical outreach and orphanage visitation, among others.
Esu, who stressed the need for the girl-child in the country to brace for leadership positions, charged them to strive to positively impact society.
