LEADERSHIP learned that one of the trucks, which was loaded with white sand and carrying four occupants, collided with another truck that had broken down on the road.

The collision caused a fire that engulfed both vehicles and their contents.

Our correspondent reports that police operatives from the Magama Gumau Divisional Police Headquarters, in collaboration with other security agencies, responded swiftly to the scene.

Operatives managed to extinguish the fire and rescue the victims.
