A member of the Abia State House of Assembly for Ohafia South constituency, Hon Kalu Mba Nwoke, has said 100 days are not enough to address the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) 24 years misrule in the state.
Nwoke stated this, yesterday, while speaking to LEADERSHIP after donating a wheelchair, palliatives, and money to a person living with disability, Izuchukwu Kalu in Asaga Ohafia, Ohafia local government.
He said he was surprised that some top functionaries of the immediate past administration had been criticising the present one which is slightly more than 100 days old for flimsy reasons.
He said, “One hundred days are not enough for the administration to undo the havoc the state suffered under the PDP’s 24 years misrule and to deliver all its campaign promises.”
The House Committee chairman on environment and urban renewal argued that compared with the past administration, the Labour Party administration had done far better for the same period.
He said, “It is unfortunate that the opposition is criticising without first sampling the opinion of the people, who have been extolling the administration for good job.”
On the donation, he announced that 10 persons had been selected from each of the five wards of the constituency for training in various skills and empowerment.
“This will be formerly launched in early October this year,” according to the one-time councillor for Ohafor ward and deputy leader of Ohafia Legislative Council.
