The Parliamentary Lobby Network in Arewa (PARLNETWORK) has thrown its weight behind Senator Abdulaziz Yari for the race of Senate Presidency in the 10th National Assembly for rapid development of Nigeria.

The National Convener of the Group of Principal Parliamentary Aide, Honorable Salisu Sabo, who made the Endorsement in a press statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, said another strong contendant has joined the race.

Honorable Salisu Sabo, said Senator Yari is not only the most qualified for the exalted office, but committed to national development among the aspirants.

 

According to him, the party’s leadership and its President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should without hesitation affiirm Senator as Senate President for credibility.

Harping on national interests of peace, stability and unity, Yari be appointed with the position of the Senate President.

 

The National Convener specifically described Senator Yari a seasoned leader who is not only widely respected by political leadership of Nigeria, but also a man known on the basic principles of inclusivity, collective prosperity, and consultative leadership.

 

“Senator A.A. Yari is not only known as a green horn in the Executive leadership of Nigeria. To a very large extent, he is also revered as a leader who naturally commands respect, and recognition for his Parliamentary leadership prowess, and for his awe-inspiring ability to manage people of all ages, social and political strata.

 

“But most importantly because of his wealth of experience in the Senate, leadership skills and good relationships with all parts of the country spread across all the state capitals of the federation,” he said.
