The 10th anniversary lecture in honour of the late second republic senate leader and Waziri of Ilorin, Dr. Oloye Abubakar Olusola Saraki, is billed for tomorrow, Monday, November 28, 2022.
The public memorial lecture is being organised by the family and associates of the late political icon who died on November 14, 2012 at the age of 79.
This is contained in a statement signed by Yusuph Olaniyonu for the family and associates. The lecture titled; ‘The Leadership and Followership Debate’ is billed to be delivered by the popular Kenyan anti-corruption crusader and public intellectual, Professor Patrick Lumumba, at the Chida Events Centre, Utako, Abuja.
The statement said the lecture marking was earlier scheduled to take place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, before the shift of venue.
Other events earlier held in his hometown as part of the memorial celebration include a medical outreach for the underprivileged and a prayer session witnessed by a mammoth crowd inside the premises of the Ilorin Central Mosque.
