117 Get Artificial Limbs In Kebbi

About 117 persons in Kebbi State have received artificial limbs from Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Waigamatus-Sunnah (JIBWIS) .

Presenting the items to the beneficiaries at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi before Governor Nasir Idris, the leader of he JIBWIS, in charge of orphans, Malam Abdullahi Diggi, who is also the deputy director of finance at National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) said since the project started three years ago,  over 9,000 artificial limbshad been donated by JIBWIS as part of  its humanitarian activities to the underprivileged.

He said, this year alone, out of 291 persons from the North West of Bebbi State, 117 have benefited.

He commended the governor for his numerous charity gestures and assistance to humanity.

In his response,  governor, Nasir Idris expressed his gratitude for the donation of assorted lims to the beneciaries in the state by the leadership of JIBWIS.

Idris urged other religious organisations to borrow a leaf from the JIBWIS which was under the leadership of Sheik Abdullahi Bala Lau who he described as an honest man.
