Organisers of the 12th Nigeria International Trade Fair/Expo slated to hold at NICON Luxury, Abuja from October 30 to November 1, 2023 have been suspended till further notice.
In a press statement issued in Abuja, the organisers, who included the chairman of Paradise Productions Limited, Ambassador Israel Chukwuma Edward and president of African Legacy International, Engr. Innocent Ogu, said the fair was suspended because of political changes in Nigeria.
They said the primary exhibitors expected at the event are public and private sectors players, such as government entities, parastatals, ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), corporate organisations and notable individuals in the private sector.
Edward said due to the political changes in Nigeria and settling down for government business, it has made 90 percent of the exhibitors not to be ready for the event.
He said as a result of the changes, the organisers have decided to suspend the event till further notice.
