The Kaduna sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said that 13 persons died in a road crash on Friday on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

The FRSC sector commander, Kabir Nadabo, told NAN that the bodies have been moved to St Gerrard’s Hospital, Kaduna.

He added that the three persons who survived were immediately conveyed to AP Smart Hospital, Kakuri.

“The road traffic crash occurred near Olam Farm on Kaduna-Abuja Highway about 3pm when a Toyota Hiace marked GTG 96YA carrying 11 persons collided with a Golf Salon marked RBC 369XE with five passengers.

“As we enter the ember season fully, motorists are reminded on the need to adhere to basic safety ethics while travelling,” he advised.
