14 Injured In Bauchi Auto Crash

The Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Bauchi State Sector Command, Yusuf Abdullahi, has said that 14 persons have been injured in a ghastly motor accident involving three vehicles at Tashan Saleh along Bauchi-Toro-Jos highway.

He said that the crash involved two commercial vehicles and a private one.

Abdullahi said that the vehicles involved included Opel Vectra Saloon with registration number: AA421KRF; a Blue DAF trailer with registration number: GME 715XX and a red Mercedes Benz 190 with no registration number.

He said that there were 15 male adults involved in the crash with only one of them escaping with no injury

The remaining 14 male adults sustained bruises, deep cuts and fractures in the crash that was probably caused by dangerous overtaking.

He said that the injured victims were taken to the General Hospital in Toro for medical treatment.
