18 Clubs Battle For Glory As FCT FA League Kicks Off In Grand Style

A month-long spectacle of fierce competition, entertainment, and excitement is underway as 18 football clubs from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commence battle for supremacy in the 2025 FCT Football Association League, which kicked off in Abuja on Monday.

The tournament features 18 teams divided into three groups, with matches taking place at key venues including the Area 3 Playing Pitch and the Old Parade Ground.

At the conclusion of the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Six round, where the ultimate champions will be decided.

With skills, passion, and pride on full display, fans can anticipate a thrilling football fiesta in the heart of Nigeria’s capital.

Group A includes CASMATT FC, Defence Strikers, Gwarinpa United, Golden Boys, IB Sports, and Royal FC.

Group B has Pride FC, Youthful Ballers FA, Optimum Sports, Makinz FC, Camp United, and RAMSAKY FC, while Group C comprises Ejike Ugboaja, Basic Maracana, Abees FA, Future Guarantee, Sofae Sports, and Sensational Stars.
