A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Super Mushshak trainer aircraft has crashed in Kaduna.
The incident, which NAF described as a “minor mishap{, occurred at 2.35pm yesterday.
The director of public relations and information AVM Edward Gabkwet in a statement said the crash occurred 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military Airfield, involving two pilots who were returning from a routine training flight.
He, however, said both pilots came out of the crash unscathed.
“The accident, which occurred at about 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military Airfield, involved two pilots who were returning from a routine training flight. Luckily, both pilots came out of the crash unscathed”.
The chief of air staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has directed a preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash.
