Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national delegates to the Abuja’s party convention were advised to stand firmly on ensuring that only committed and honest persons are elected into party’s positions at the next coming convention in order to bring about unity, discipline and political direction to the PDP for future activities.

The national delegates are being advised not to succumb to any propaganda or lies in order to be coerced in voting any leader that will compromise his political position to destroy the soul of PDP for material gains.

This is part of the outcome of the communiqué of the National Restoration Group for Political Unity and Peace of the PDP Northern Youths Alliance meeting held at Kaduna, Monday.

“We also welcome the return of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to the mainstream politics as he indicates interest to join the party he abandons.”

The group said, only agile leadership, fairness and discipline would revive PDP strength in Nigeria and make it strong and reliable for the future elections.

The group commended the efforts of the national chairman of the National Caretaker Committee of the Party, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, over his sacrifice and political direction that have brought the party into many success among others.
