Police Train Senior Officers On Performance Improvement



The Nigeria Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society has been described as an important and existential organisation to officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force that requires the efforts and supports of all stakeholders in order to realise the dream of growing the cooperative society into the biggest in Africa.

Chairman, Nigeria Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society, AIG Dan Bature, stated this Tuesday in his opening address at a two-day workshop on performance improvement for senior police officers organised by West Africa Projects and Risk Management Consult in collaboration with Nigeria Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society which held in Abuja.

According to AIG Bature, “Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society is a very important institution that requires everybody’s contribution so that we can grow it to become the best in Africa. You must be opened to yourself and bring your wealth of experience, especially the one you are going to acquire in the course of this workshop, to bear so that this organisation can grow for the good of us all.”

He assures of the inspector general of police’s support and promise to personally do anything within his powers to help the organisation.

Participants were drawn from police formations across the country and were trained on important areas like effective problem solving methodology, and how to improve their knowledge and experience in marketing and strategic management and accountability mechanisms that will help the cooperative society deliver better and more accountable services among other topics.
